If I'm not answering, it must be because I'm living with the baddest babe this side of the inner city! Go ahead and leave a message if you're not too overcome with jealousy! Kthxbai!
okay! and don't laugh, you're my partner in crime with this by now! ;p i'll be in front of the bar popping balloons in the meantime before you get there then!
hey, canned peaches aren't that bad of a thing, are they?? it will be something nice to keep for the winter to come!
[Once you'll get in front of the bar, Kida, Ryoji will be a bit... further from the entrance. Throwing rocks at a few balloons nearby. Giving the impression as if he was really getting into it.]
[Masaomi gets there, uncertain for only a moment before he realizes what Ryoji must be doing. Grinning, he grabs an orange balloon and searches for the other boy, sneaking up behind him. When he's just about a yard away, he puts one hand on each side of the balloon before squeezing until it pops.]
[Way to go, Kida. That actually earns you a startled yelp - if not to call it a girly shriek - as Ryoji jumps into the air in a fit of panic. Yeah, apparently not what he expected.
And as soon as he turns around and notices his friend standing right there behind him... There's a mere second of silence before Ryoji wobbles and falls to the ground. Giving the impression as if he's just fainted.]
[The blond cackles at Ryoji's fearful, high-pitched squeal, and when the other boy turns to him before collapsing to the ground, he can't help but erupt into laughter again. After a moment, he crouches next to Ryoji, fighting off his last few chuckles.]
[The moment Kida crouches next to him, Ryoji immediately stops playing dead and looks up at him, smiling, still not bothering to move from the ground just yet.]
Is that how you'd act in front of a dying friend? I'm hurt. [Only that, you know, not really.] Though I guess that just means that I need to work on my acting skills... Evidently, Masaomi-kun doesn't get fooled that easily.
[Another chuckle, followed by a little sigh.]
Honestly though, you almost gave me a heart attack there...
Yup! That's exactly how I act! And once they die, I look through their pockets. It's not grave robbing if there's no grave yet.
[He grins wide but holds out a hand to help Ryoji back to his feet. In that hand is a pair of lavender gloves. It must have come out of the popped balloon.]
[And there you go~ Ryoji just brushes off the bits of dirt that managed to get on his clothes and turns to grin at his friend.]
If you put it that way... I suppose I might need those more than you do, after all. Thanks, Masaomi-kun.
[That said, he wastes no time with putting the gloves on, only to find them an almost perfect fit.]
What do you say we ditch the bar for a bit and hunt down some balloons out here instead? Maybe we'll be able to find something nice for you, too. Not to mention even the canned food would do for a nice winter snack in a month or two.

Pop them! They're like those cheap vending machine eggs with prizes inside.
I'll meet you there. Don't worry. Your secret, naughty drinking life is safe with me! \(・‿^ )

[That's a no. But with that last text, he gets ready to head out, flicking one or two balloons on his way to the bar.]

Does this make up for it?

Sorry to disappoint, but I'm afraid you won't find much on me! Unless it's some of my charm you wanted to steal~
[He reaches for the offered hand without hesitating too much, though, and seems pleasantly surprised by the small gift.]
Oh, are you sure you won't need it yourself? Who knows how chilly the winter here might be this year?
[offline]
I won't even notice! The best winter coat is the one your girlfriend's wearing!

[Still grinning in satisfaction, Masaomi rubs his hands back and forth over Ryoji's glove before clapping with his poor hand in the middle.]
I'm game. Early Christmas shopping is go!

[Ryoji confirms and smiles, amused and welcoming of the whole gesture.]
Onward, then! Before everyone snatches all the good stuff in front of us!
